The Pirelli Cinturato Gravel H tire is designed for compact terrain and the hardest surfaces. The tread features low and tight knobs with a great ability to adapt to the terrain, providing a wide contact area and excellent riding feel. The special SpeedGRIP compound improves mechanical resistance and chemical grip, without compromising rolling efficiency. The Cinturato™ Gravel H is a high-performance tire that offers reliable grip in all weather conditions, whether it is either dry or wet, whilst providing a high level of puncture protection. This model is compatible with hookless rims, according to the ETRTO maximum pressure limit of 5 bar/73 psi.

SpeedGRIP Compound

The SpeedGRIP Compound is a gravel specific formula developed by the Pirelli brand based on its experience in the World Rally Championship, where speed and grip on and off-road are crucial. This formulation is based on the polymer matrix of the compound SmartGRIP, specific to mountain biking, while reducing rolling resistance. For gravel, good speed and road performance are essential. Pirelli engineers have thus adjusted the compound to improve energy efficiency, while maintaining a minimal compromise on grip, resulting in a predictable tire that delivers solid performance on and off the road.

Pirelli engineers have combined technologies derived from road-specific reinforced coatings with MTB tires to design their most advanced gravel tires. This performance is achieved through the use of special fabric reinforcements and layers of thicker rubber in specific areas of the tire. On-road, the majority of punctures are caused by sharp objects, while off-road punctures are often caused by cuts in the sidewalls. The TechWALL Gravel uses a tough 120-gauge fabric TPI around the entire perimeter of the tire, while providing a smooth ride.
